Knowledge Economic City Company Announces the Resignation of its CEO and the Assignment of a New Acting CEO for the Company 4310 KEC -0.35 % 1436/05/14     05/03/2015 15:55:52 The Knowledge Economic City Company (the Company) announces its Board of Directors resolution dated 5-03-2015 accepting the resignation of the company CEO Eng. Ibrahim bin Mohammed Al Blushi submitted today 5-03-2015 due to personal circumstances as of 1-4-2015. The company also announces the Board of Directors resolution dated 5-03-2015 of the assignment of Dr. Marwan bin Mohammed Noureddin Fahmie as Acting CEO for the Company with effect from 5-03-2015 to prepare for the take over the functions of that office. It is worth mentioning that Dr. Marwan Fahmie holds Ph.D. in Civil Engineering in Construction Management from the University of Florida, and Masters and Bachelor degrees in civil engineering from the University of New Mexico in the United States. He has worked before as the company Vice President for Projects and Operations, and held the position of Acting CEO as well. He has also served as Director General of the Office of the Executive Committee responsible for the development of the central area of the city of Medina. KEC BOD Members offered their thanks to Eng Ibrahim Al Blushi for the efforts he has excreted during his tenure as CEO and wished Dr. Marwan Fahmie all success in his assignment as Acting CEO.
