Emaar, the Economic City announces the Resignation of the Chief Executive Officer and the Appointment of a Managing Director 4220 EMAAR EC -1.28 % 1448/04/30     11/10/2026 08:10:22 Introduction Emaar, the Economic City announces that the Board of Directors resolved by circulation on 10 October 2026G, corresponding to 29 Rabi' Al-Akhir 1448H, based on the Nomination and Remuneration Committee’s endorsement, to approve the resignation of the Company's Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr. Abdulaziz Ibrahim Alnowaiser, effective 31 October 2026G, corresponding to 20 Jumada Al-Awwal 1448H, due to his professional commitments. Furthermore, the Board of Directors also approved in the same resolution the appointment of Mr. Naif Saleh AlHamdan, the current Vice Chairman of the Board, as the Company's Managing Director, effective 1 November 2026G, corresponding to 21 Jumada Al-Awwal 1448 AH. The Board of Directors extends its sincere appreciation and gratitude to Mr. Abdulaziz Ibrahim Alnowaiser for his valuable contributions and dedicated service during his tenure as Chief Executive Officer and wishes him continued success in his future endeavors. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of Emaar, the Economic City (EEC) and as Head of the West Coast Portfolio Management Department at the Public Investment Fund (PIF), as well as a number of Board and Committees chairmanship and memberships in other companies. Prior to joining PIF, he was Vice President of Investment Business Development at Sulaiman A. Al Rajhi Real Estate Investment Company. His previous experience also includes positions at Global Investment House, Ernst & Young, and SABB Bank. Mr. Naif holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals and an MBA from the University of Wales.
