Announces About canceling the CEO structure 2110 SAUDI CABLE 0.57 % 1446/02/01     05/08/2024 09:27:23 Introduction Saudi Cable Company announces Regarding to the decision of the Board of Directors issued on 29/01/1446 AH corresponding to 04/08/2024 AD, as follows: 1. The executive management structure has been canceled by eliminating the position of Chief Executive Officer. 2. The services of the CEO, Mr. Fawaz bin Mubarak Al-Muqbel, have been terminated in accordance with Article (77) of the Labor Law, due to the reduction of the company's administrative positions in light of the current situation as the company is subject to the bankruptcy system. 3. Mr. Khalid bin Asaad Khashoggi has been assigned the duties and responsibilities of the CEO in addition to his current role as Managing Director. The company expresses its gratitude to Mr. Fawaz bin Mubarak Al-Muqbel for his dedication during his tenure as CEO and wishes Mr. Khalid bin Asaad Khashoggi success in his new responsibilities." Mr. Khaled has been distinguished by successful records throughout his career, most notably: Canadian Caline Capital Company and Thimar Holding Company, a public joint stock company. He also previously held the position of CEO of Oak Company. Mr. Khaled was also a former member of the Saudi-British Business Council, the Saudi French Business Council and the Saudi Canadian Business Council. Mr. Khaled Khashoggi currently works as a managing director of Saudi Cables Company, a member of the Executive Committee and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thimar Holding Company, as well as Chairman of the Nominations and Remuneration Committee. Mr. Khaled is also a member of the Marketing Committee of Chemiyat Methanol Company (Chemanol, a Saudi joint stock company).
