Al Alamiya for Cooperative Insurance Co. announces the Resignation and Appointment of Board Member 8280 LIVA -0.67 % 1438/03/19     18/12/2016 08:02:07 Al Alamiya for Cooperative Insurance Company announces that Mr. Adel Bin Al Sheikh has submitted his resignation on 16/03/1438H corresponding to 15/12/2016G from his position of Non Executive Director representing Riyad Bank. The Board has approved this resignation on 16/03/1438H corresponding to 15/12/2016G and it will take effect from 16/03/1438H corresponding to 15/12/2016G. The resignation of Mr. Adel Bin Al Sheikh is due to his desire to concentrate on his membership as a Board Director representing Riyad Bank at the Board of Directors of Royal & Sun Alliance Middle East ( the major shareholder in Al Alamiya for Cooperative Insurance Company) The Board of Directors has also issued a Board resolution on 16/03/1438H corresponding to 15/12/2016G including the appointment of Mr. Khalid Mohammad Hariry as a Non Executive Board Member representing Riyad Bank at the Board of Directors of the company starting from 19/03/1438H corresponding 18/12/2016G to replace Mr. Adel Bin Al Sheikh. Mr. Khalid Mohammad Hariry is a Saudi National who held a number of leading positions in Bank Saudi Fransi, MasterCard and Riyad Bank and is currently the Senior Vice President, Head of Customers and Products Management in Riyad Bank. The Board Decision is not considered as final and this appointment will be presented to the next Shareholders General Assembly for approval. The Board of Directors would also like to extend its appreciation to the valuable contribution of Mr. Adel Bin Al Sheikh during his membership.
