Saudi Airlines Catering Company announces the Resignation and Appointment of two Board Members 6004 CATRION -0.29 % 1436/08/09     27/05/2015 09:43:11 The Saudi Airlines Catering company announces that Mr. Basel Mohamed Al Ghadhib (non-executive director) has submitted his resignation from his position to Board of Directors on 25/05/2015 due to personal reasons, effective from 26/05/2015. The Board has approved the resignation on 26/05/2015. The board has appointed Eng. Raid Bin Ibrahim Sulaiman Al-Mudaihem as a board member (Non-executive) effective Wednesday 27th May 2015 for the remaining period ending on the 26th January 2016 as a replacement of the above mentioned resigned board member. This decision was taken in the board meeting held on the 26th May 2015 based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration committee. This appointment will be approved in the forthcoming General Assembly Meeting. Eng. Raid Al-Mudaihem holds both bachelor and masters degrees in electrical engineering from King Saud University in Riyadh (1986) and has over twenty-eight years of experience in engineering and administration both private and government sectors. He is board member in many enterprises and companies. The board of directors of SACC thanks Mr. Basel Al Ghadhib for all his efforts for the development and boosting performance of the company and its services since he joined the company. Also Saudi Airlines Catering Company announces the appointment of Eng. Abdullah Jameel Taibah as a board member (independent) effective Wednesday the 27th May 2015 for the remaining period ending on the 26th January 2016. He will replace resigned board member Mr. Yousef Ben Abdulsattar Al-Maimani (independent), whose resignation was announced thru Tadwual on the 17th February 2015. The board of directors endorsed the above appointment, based on the recommendation by the Nomination & Remuneration Committee, in its meeting held on the 26th May 2015. This appointment will be approved in the forthcoming General Assembly Meeting. Eng. Abdullah Jameel Taibah holds a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from King Fahad University of petroleum and minerals in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. He has over 25 years of experience in both regional and international business affairs in various positions, both in private and governmental sectors. Currently Eng. Abdullah holds the position of CEO of Arabian Qudra C., which is a subsidiary of ACWA Holding Group specializing in Energy sector. Previously Eng. Abdullah has worked in many senior executive positions at Hail Economic City and he has also worked as an executive manager in General Electric Company in Africa and in Middle East. Currently Eng. Abdullah is a board member in many companies e.g. Emaar King Abdullah Economic City and Higher Institute of Water and Power Technologies.
