(CATRION) announces ‎the appointment of the Managing Director and the new CEO 6004 CATRION 0.29 % 1446/07/27     27/01/2025 16:13:49 Introduction CATRION is pleased to announce its Board ‎of Directors resolution dated on 27/01/2025 ‎corresponding to 27/07/1446H issued based on the recommendation of the Nominations and Remuneration Committee, regarding the approval on the appointment of the current CEO, Mr. Wajdy Mohammed Al-Ghabban, to the position of Managing Director of the Board of Directors for the current session and the appointment of Mr. Mohammed Hassan Al Shuhail as CEO to succeed the current CEO, provided that this appointment is effective from 01/02/2025G. This appointment comes within the framework of the Board of Directors’ vision to enhance and support the Company’s strategic directions. On this occasion, the Board of Directors, on behalf of the company and its employees, expressed its sincere thanks to Mr. Wajdy Al-Ghabban for his outstanding efforts during his tenure as CEO. His leadership has significantly contributed to achieving notable accomplishments, strengthening the company’s position, and advancing its business development. The Board also expressed its sincere wishes to Mr. Mohammed Al Shuhail as the new CEO of the company. Al Shuhail joins CATRION with an impressive background as a recognized leader within the food industry across the Middle East and Spain, He brings over 23 years of experience in various commercial, operational, and strategic roles working for some of Saudi Arabia’s leading organizations, including Almarai in which he was holding the position of Executive Vice President of Foodservice at Almarai and led creating B2B business units across the GCC region where he achieved exceptional results. In addition, he served as CEO of Al Safi Dairy Company, CEO of International Pediatric Nutrition Company, and previously worked at SABIC. It is worth to mentioned that Al Shuhail holds a Bachelor’s degree from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Marketing, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from London Business School.
