Al Sorayai Trading and Industrial Group announces the Appointment of Board Member 1213 NASEEJ -0.71 % 1438/03/09     08/12/2016 15:06:32 Al Sorayai Trading and Industrial Group announces that the Board approved on 8 December 2016 the appointment of Mr. Faisal Mostafa Rasheed Alkordi as an ( Independent member ) in the Board of Directors , from 11 December 2016 until the end of the current session on 15 July 2018 , to replace Mr. Abdulaziz Nasser Abdulaziz Al Sorayai ( Non Executive ) who resigned from the BODs on 21 September 2016 , the BODs approval over this appointment is not final , this appointment will be presented to the General Assembly of the Company at its first meeting for approval . Currently Mr. Faisal Mostafa Rasheed Alkordi serves as CEO of SKAB Group Company ( closed joint stock company ) , a diversified group ( FMCG , Retail , Operations and Maintenance , Hospitality and Leisure , Real Estate ) . Prior to joining SKAB Group, he was CEO of Salama Cooperative Insurance Company, a publicly listed cooperative Insurance Company. Prior to Salama, he was with National Commercial Bank (NCB), in several areas and key management positions . Previously, He also held a seat in the Board of Directors for a number of public and private shareholding companies. He holds a master's degree in economics from the University of North Carolina in the United States.
