Al Rajhi Bank Announces Appointment of CEO 1120 ALRAJHI 0.28 % 1441/03/08     05/11/2019 08:56:02 Introduction Al Rajhi Banking and Investment Corporation (Al Rajhi Bank) announces receipt of SAMA’s Letter of No-Objection No. 41/14517 dated 06/03/1441 AH corresponding to 03/11/2019 AD on appointing MR. Walid bin Abdullah Al-Moqbel as the Chief Executive Officer of Al Rajhi Bank. The Board of Al Rajhi Bank has resolved to name MR. Walid as the CEO during its meeting held on 20/10/2019 with effect from 01/01/2020. MR. Walid has a long experience in the banking sector; where he held during his career leadership posts in Al Rajhi Bank and its affiliates, most recent being the Deputy Chief Executive Officer. He also previously served as Al Rajhi Bank Chief Operating Officer COO, and Chief Financial Officer CFO. It is noteworthy that MR. Walid has Master and PhD degrees in accounting and finance from the United Kingdom. In addition, he has a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). On this occasion, the Chairman, members of the Board of Directors, and all employees extend sincere thanks to Mr. Stefano Bertamini, whose contract will expire on 31/12/2019, for his efforts during his tenure as the Chief Executive Officer of Al Rajhi Bank where he led many fruitful efforts in Management and Business Development.
